In the start it consisted of 60 branches with 800 vehicles located at different places in United States, but till 2005 it has gradually grown up to the 2000 branches.
In 2007 Vanguard Car Rental USA Inc. (a Taylor Family of St. Louis) accquired the National car rental and Alamo Rent a Car.The national car rental has always been a leader in car rental industry by showing a tremendous growth and multiple innovation in this industry.
